http://andy77.com. My New Weblog

Some of you may already notice I have setup a new site - http://andy77.com. Yea, it's my new weblogs site, definitely, my own website.

Why? I want to have a site that I have totally control over it. Uha, it's really interesting to have an own domain name and have an own host. You can do whatever you want to setup the site, and you can change even modify any lines of the code as you want.  (But of course, you do not need to write a blog engine from scratch) I choose the most popular blog engine - WordPress and one of most popular templates - K2. It's COOL! :-D

Please change the URL as:
http://andy77.com

And RSS:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/andychang

By the way, below is my Flickr stream:

Enjoy it! :-P

Great News 2! ~~~~~

Photo Published

Hey guys! It's the time say congratulations to me for the second time!! :-P One of my photos that took at the BarCampShanghai last week was published on 2006.10.02 issue of 21st Century Business Herald (二十一世纪经济报道). Since it was asked by the pretty reporter - 小玻 - of the newspaper, I provided the photo for free. But next time, it'll be charged! :P

Oh. I haven't got time to write something about the BarCamp event. It's a very cool meeting! The most interesting thing of it is it's call "un-conference", which means that there is there is so-called organizer actully, and eveyone is encouraged to lead a session and to be participated. Simply, it's OPEN.

BarCamp is an ad-hoc un-conference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.

This is the first time BarCamp intruduced into China. It gathered around 50 (actually 80 registered) geeks. The topics covered Web 2.0, international business (China and west), web design, art, open source, agile development, and etc. Of course, we got a session on photography. The pity is I am the one Nikon :-S. (damn, it should be more Nikons...). By the way, thanks the T-shirt of ShellShadow.
